Donating is more than just time or money, it's peace of mind. Now you can help even the smallest animal.

A LITTLE ABOUT Another Chance Animal Rescue

Another Chance Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill, foster-based rescue in Southern Maine, run completely by volunteers. We've been helping furry friends throughout Maine, New Hampshire and the Southern United States through transport since 2004.

We operate through generous supporters, grants and other programs. We also run a Thrift Shop at 32 Market St. in North Berwick, Maine. While there are no adoptable companion animals at the shop, all proceeds benefit the animals in our care.

"... Because Every Animal Deserves Another Chance"

LONDON – London has been with Another Chance since he was a kitten. We work hard to socialize all of our kittens, but some will always be semi-feral, like London/. He coexists with our residents very happily but it is rare for him to get too close to the humans unless he smells food he wants! Shelly whom he has always gravitated towards since arriving, is his best friend & the two are quite a pair! .
**UPDATE - We are saddened to share that our sweet Lomdon recently passed away on 4/12/2019. We are heartbroken & will miss him always.

Our permanent residents

Shelly–  Shelly is a beautiful but shy girl who only dedicated volunteers get a glimpse of from time to time. You know you're part of the family when Shelly rubs against your legs while doing dishes!

Our main foster site, which is open to the public, is located at 251 Country Club Road in Sanford.
